Redmi Note 10 5G / POCO M3 Pro 5G received a stable Android 12-based MIUI 13 update a couple of weeks ago. The update is currently exclusive to global users, and with the latest MIUI weekly bug report, it might take time before it extends to other regions.
Xiaomi MIUI 13 update has seen a minimum bug report compared to its predecessors. However, it seems affordable phones are having a hard time adapting to the latest iteration of MIUI.
According to the latest MIUI weekly bug report, the Redmi Note 10 5G / POCO M3 Pro 5G has the display messed up after the upgrade. The issue left the display unusable as it wouldn’t power on. Currently, the company is working on a fix that’ll arrive with MIUI 13.0.2.0 SKSMIXM, but that would take some time as the build is still on internal testing.
There’s an option to roll back to Android 11, and you can access the ROM from our tracker page. Nevertheless, you’ll lose all your data, but if you have a backup, you can proceed.
Latest MIUI weekly bug report on other phones
The Redmi 10 users running MIUI 13.0.4.0 SKUMIXM report that their network automatically disconnects. It’s believed to happen after “playing the game.” Perhaps, a “certain” game is forcing the network to disconnect automatically. Luckily, a fix will soon arrive through cloud control.
The latest MIUI weekly bug report vol. 72, also talked about the random turning off on the Redmi Note 11 Pro and No signal issues affecting the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro. It’s unknown what’s causing the problem on the latter, while the former will get a fix via OTA.
