A tipster, Evan Brass, posted a few pictures of the OneUI watch 4.5 and Wear OS 3.5 design just recently. While sources proposed a few features the new software will be coming with, a new OneUI Watch 4.5 Beta update is now available.
The new OneUI Watch 4.5 Beta program has been on the way since the beginning of June with users seeing two beta releases already. This new OneUI Watch 4.5 Beta update is the third release and as usual, it’s coming with more improvements and enhancements to the Galaxy Watch 4 series.

The new OneUI Watch 4.5 Beta update bears firmware versions R860XXU1ZVFA and R8600XM1ZVFA for the Galaxy Watch 4 classic and vanilla variants of the smartwatch, packing a storage space of about 270MB. Here’s a list of the enhancements brought to the sleek Galaxy Watch 4 series:
- Improving Watchface GUI • Fixed restore problem after Tile backup
- Fixed SysUI crash problem when pushing the Home button during scrolling
- Fixed Music Bixby malfunction problem
- Improving wearing detection accuracy
- Improving the usability of Alarm, Stopwatch, Timer, and World Clock
- Stabilizing touch performance
- Improving power consumption caused by Buds auto-switch communication
- Improving the performance of automatic exercise
- Improving recognition rate of Wrist up when bicycle exercise
- Fixed BT connection problem when running gallery app
- Other improvements are applied
The Galaxy Watch 4 users still on the second beta build will get the OTA update very soon. A tweak worth noticing is that the Korean brand did some changes to the Galaxy Watch 4 beta plugin altering the version to 2.2.11.22063011. Users eligible for the update are those who engaged in the beta program via the Samsung Members app.
