Samsung phones are now receiving the March 2024 Google Play system update
While Samsung phones are already getting the April 2024 security patch update, the March 2024 Google Play system update is rolling out instead. Unlike Pixel phones that have these updates automatically installed, you will have to install it manually on your Galaxy phones.
The March 2024 Google Play System update is rolling out for all Android-supported devices. It introduces some features while improving performance and fixing bugs. The latest release comes in a 71 MB package. We received the update on our Galaxy S22 Ultra, meaning the size might be bigger or smaller on other phones. However, installing the update is the same on every Galaxy device, and hence, you should head to Settings>>Security and privacy>>Updates>>Google System update. Tap on it and follow the screen instructions to download and reboot your device to finish the installation.
