The much-anticipated POCO M2 Android 12 update is currently seeding. POCO is rolling out the upgrade with a stable MIUI 13 build in India, but available for limited users. After the preview phase, the update will be released to the public, and that’s when you might receive a notification for a new update.
It’s been a few weeks since we reported that the POCO M2 Android 12 update will be released soon. The update is now available for Mi Pilots in India a few hours after the Redmi Note 11 Pro 11 4G started receiving the update. Meanwhile, POCO M2 users are receiving an Android 12-based MIUI 13 update, while Note 11 Pro 4G is getting a stable MIUI based on Android 12 with the July 2022 security patch.
The POCO M2 Android 12 update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.2.0 SJRINXM and weighs 1.9GB. It comes with all the expected features, which include stable MIUI based on Android 12, July 2022 security patch, system optimizations, and bug fixes. Of course, the update has introduced the MIUI 13 goodies exclusive to global users, which are available here.
Unfortunately, the new MIUI control center might not be part of the package. It is limited to select devices, but you can enable it after upgrading to MIUI 13 using this link.
Again, the update is limited to Mi Pilots. They’ll preview the build for a few days before it’s released to the public. And while you can download the ROM using the link below, we recommend waiting for feedback before installation. Nevertheless, you can proceed with the upgrade, but be sure you have all data backed up.
