WhatsApp call links are a way of inviting other users to join an audio or video call even if the user isn’t on your contact list. You can either initiate a link for the calls or join an already created one. This makes conversation easier as you can invite someone to join a conversation without stress, quite interesting.

According to Will Cathcart, the WhatsApp call links will be rolling out widely in the coming weeks, however, there is no information as regards how to use the feature or how it will be accessed. Neither is there information on whether it will be available on both Android, iOS and the web. The Meta boss, Mark Zuckerberg mentioned on Facebook that “Whatsapp would begin testing encrypted video calling with up to 32 users”.
Whatsapp call links aren’t a strange feature though as we’ve seen something very similar on apps like Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and others. As mentioned earlier, the Meta boss has been hard at work rolling out other features other than Whatsapp call links.
