Xiaomi 13 Pro is the higher version of the Xiaomi 13 series and as the name goes – Pro – you should expect an upgrade compared to the Vanilla version of the smartphone, that’s the Xiaomi 13. While you’re gazing at the name “Pro”, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is powered by the same chipset as the Vanilla version – the 4nm impressive Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The smartphone was launched alongside Xiaomi 13 in China and is expected to go global soon. Let’s take a look at what more feature is integrated into this smartphone.
Features of the Xiaomi 13 Pro
The Xiaomi 13 Pro takes up the same 6.73-inch display as its predecessor, however, with multiple high-end specs. The display is equipped with 1440 x 3200 Pixel resolution alongside HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG support, ambient colour temperature sensor, and 120 Hz screen refresh rate(to be regulated, thanks to the LTPO panel). There’s a notable improvement in the maximum and peak brightness (which sits at 1200 and 1900 nits respectively) just like the Xiaomi 13.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro also gets UFS 4.0 Storage and LP-DDR5X memory. On to the camera section. It’s a triple 50MP camera setup(which comprises the main, telephoto and ultrawide sensors)however, there’s the 1-inch IMX989 sensor paired with a Leica branded lens and is equipped with Hyper OIS.
Some other features integrated into the Xiaomi 13 Pro are a 4820 mAh battery (housing a Surge G1 chip for safe charging), 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, 10W reverse wireless charging, Dolby Head tracking feature, Dolby Atmos speakers, IR blaster and IP68 rating.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro will also be available(in White, Black, Green and Light Blue colours) for preorder in China by December 14. The price for the smartphone starts at $720 for the 8/128GB variant to $900 for the 12/512GB variant.
