Xiaomi Pad 5 is now receiving the much-anticipated Android 13-based MIUI 14 update in Europe. The update initially arrived on Chinese models before arriving on global units a week ago. It’s currently available for those running the European ROM, but only select users will get the update for preview.

The global POCO F4 Android 13 is now seeding with a stable MIUI 14 update. It’s the limited rollout at the moment to give time for a preview. After successful testing, the update will gradually arrive for other eligible users.

It’s been only a couple of hours since the POCO F4 users started receiving Android 13 with a stable MIUI 14 in Europe. As expected, the upgrade has extended to global users, although only a few users can install it currently.

The Global POCO F4 Android 13 update is seeding with a version number MIUI 14.0.1.0 TLMMIXM and weighs 3.5GB. Aside from a stable MIUI based on Android 13 and December 2022 security patch, there are other improvements and additions.

With MIUI 14, Xiaomi introduced Photon Engine, which makes you have less memory. It doesn’t affect the system performance, with the device expected to deliver smooth and sustained performance over a long period.

The POCO F4 MIUI 14 update, which brings a stable Android 13 is now available in Indonesia. It’s seeding with a version number MIUI 14.0.5.0 TLMIDXM and weighs about 4.6GB. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, the successor to the Galaxy Flip 4, will be soon unveiled. Of course, different leaks of the foldable will surface online before its scheduled date. Recent leaks of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 reveal the outer display of the smartphone.

Ice Universe, a trustworthy Samsung leaker, has compiled a few continuing details about the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 to provide updates and explanations. Ice initially reiterates in the tweet that both smartphones would use Samsung’s new “droplet” hinge design. This revised design, as we’ve been hearing for a few months now, exerts less stress on the folded display, resulting in a less apparent and significant crease, and is more in line with what firms like Oppo have been doing. Both phones appear to be IPX8 water-resistant.

We also learn more about the Galaxy Z Flip 5, notably its outside display. According to /ce, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will have a 3.4-inch cover display, up from 1.9 inches on the Flip 4, and larger than the Oppo Find N2 Flip’s 3.26-inch display. This is consistent with prior rumors, although /ce adds that the display will be “nearly square” and will take up the majority of the area on the phone’s exterior. The Flip 5 will reportedly have reduced bezels on the inside display.

In terms of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Ice claims that, despite rumors, the outside hardware will not change much other than the new hinge. The outside screen remains 6.2 inches in size, with a thickness of barely 0.2mm at its thinnest point. The phone will, however, feel considerably slimmer because the redesigned hinge keeps the 13mm thickness consistent throughout the whole device.

Lastly, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 will feature “revolutionary touch screen technology” and will use the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Samsung processor as the Galaxy S23 series. Samsung is anticipated to release the next generation of foldables this summer.

Features of the Google Pixel watch March 2023 update 

Watch Faces

  • Digital Clock is now available with a button press when the device is powered down. The time will now appear upon crown push, alongside the red low battery indicator.

Display

  • In addition to enabling AOD in the settings on your watch or companion app, you can now turn AOD on by rotating the haptic crown, and the screen activates in AOD off and brightens the display in ambient mode.

Touch

  • Optimizations have been added to improve the sensitivity of touchscreen behavior.

Settings

  • Battery saver enable/disable single tap support in QSS has been fully enabled in this release.

Alarms

  • In the coming weeks, a fix will be rolled out via PlayStore to update the Clock app that addresses some alarms which have been having a delayed or false start.
  • Ensure Auto-update apps are selected in Play Store > Settings on your watch and you will get this update once it’s available when your watch is on the charger and connected to Wi-Fi.
