Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S9 Ultra will be succeeding the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series and the Korean tech giant is planning to pull up the big guns with these tabs, according to sources. There have been leaks about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series, but now, authentic details of the Tab series have surfaced online – thanks to the Geekbench 6 listings. Here’s what we know.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series should be a bomb
The Galaxy Tab S9 (SM-X716B) is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor, which features a 3.36 GHz Cortex-X3 CPU and 8GB of RAM. The gadget achieved a single-core score of 1,929 points and a multi-core score of 4,735 points. The listing also reveals that the tablet runs Android 13, most likely with One UI 5.1 on top.
According to recent rumors, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra (SM-X916B) achieved an even higher single-core score of 2,054 points and a multi-core score of 5,426 points. The smartphone is equipped with the same CPU and RAM combination as the Samsung Tab S9 and runs Android 13 with One UI 5.1 on top.
The forthcoming Ultra model tablet is rumored to include a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display and an 11,200 mAh battery with 45W charging, identical to its predecessor. The gadget is also said to be water and dust-resistant (IP68). If the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series is taking up the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, then it should be one of the strongest tabs in the market at release. It should take up a significant amount of the Tablet market share.
