The Xiaomi 13 series of flagship phones are strong candidates in the area of best smartphones. As far as we know, the most recent series of devices include the Xiaomi 13, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, and the anticipated Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which is expected to be formally introduced later this month. But there’s another smartphone that might be added to the lineup soon – Xiaomi 13T.
What we know about the Xiaomi 13T series
This is a very standard lineup for a flagship series, with multiple variations offering somewhat varying options. As a result, consumers interested in purchasing a phone may select the model that best suits their needs. That would have been the end of it if this new leak hadn’t hinted at the possibility of a fourth phone being released: the Xiaomi 13T Pro.
Those of you with a keen eye for detail will undoubtedly recall the Xiaomi 12T Pro, so this isn’t the first time we’ve seen something like this. The T variations, which began with the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro, are often regarded as mid-range smartphones that provide outstanding performance but at a reduced cost when compared to higher-end Xiaomi models.
Xiaomiui discovered the Xiaomi 13T Pro is an IMEI database, however, a Xiaomi 13T non-pro edition is also in the works, as has been the case with the Xiaomi 11 and 12 series of phones.
The 13T Pro’s model number is “23078PND5G,” and it appears that it will be available in China under the name Redmi K60 Ultra. As of yet, the only information provided by the source is a “powerful MediaTek CPU.”
Given that the Xiaomi 13 was outfitted with the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, this CPU change may appear strange, but it makes sense when you realize that the Xiaomi 13T Pro is projected to be less expensive than the main series flagships. When compared to the 8 Gen 2, the Dimensity 9200 appears to be a decent match, but only time will tell if we’re on the right route.
That being said, we don’t have any other information on the Xiaomi 13T Pro at this time. The device appears to be in production for the time being, but we’ll certainly hear more about it when the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is released.
