Google has commenced the deployment of a new stable Android Auto update. The tech company released a new beta update to testers early in the month, and it seems the public rollout has started. Perhaps the preview phase revealed minimum bugs, but the rollout is still seeding in batches.
The latest Android Auto 9.4 stable update is currently rolling out in phase through the Google Play store. We understand it’s being rolled up in batches, albeit the beta testing has been conducted. Hence, if you’re yet to receive the update, you should exercise patience, as it will arrive in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the new update focuses on app improvements and bug fixes. There’s a chance the build has introduced new features, but since Google doesn’t include a release note with a new Android Auto update, users have to install the update to find out.
However, if you’re yet to get the CoolWalk redesign, the Android Auto 9.4 stable update might have enabled it. Google seems to bring the feature to more people with each new release, and we expect the same with the current build.
