Android Auto’s Coolwalk design seen for the first time

The Android Auto’s Coolwalk design has been talked about a lot and of course, for an attractive software feature, it pulls huge attention to it. Well, users have expected the Android Auto’s Coolwalk design in about four to five updates before now, but it didn’t show up. Fortunately, it has been spotted for the first time.

What’s new with Android Auto’s Coolwalk design?

First up, hold your horses, the Android Auto’s Coolwalk design hasn’t been rolled out widely, it was accessed by a rooted Android smartphone and it shows some interesting features. Android Auto as well as Spotify made an interesting tweak that matches the qualities of the said design.

According to what was seen on Reddit, the new tweak gives room for Spotify on your screen while displaying other content. Previously, you can choose to display the music content in any display size – either full or just minimized with the playback controls present. But with this new widget resembling the Coolwalk, you get not only music controls, song cover art and album list but also the For You interface.

This allows you access more other than opening the full app, making use of available space. All these boil down to the expected Coolwalk redesign as described some months ago. Sources further proposed that the other music apps could still work with the dual-page widget, quite interesting.

Well, the Android Auto’s Coolwalk redesign is still expected to be rolled out widely since it was announced in May this year. But these tweaks give a glimmer of hope that the feature will be arriving very soon.
