The latest phone to start receiving the stable HyperOS 1.0 update is the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. It’s the second device to start getting the much-anticipated upgrade after the Redmi K60 Ultra, which got the update some hours ago. It’s a limited rollout, but we anticipate a wider release in the coming days.
Xiaomi announced it will start rolling out the HyperOS update this month, and they kept to that. The company has already released the update to Redmi K60 Ultra, and now, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra HyperOS update is available. It’s a Chinese release currently, but we expect the global release to commence soon.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra HyperOS update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.3.0.UMACNXM. It weighs about 6GB and comes with all the expected features while bumping the Android security patch level to increase system security and stability. Of course, the update pushes the Android OS to Android 14.
As usual, only limited users are getting the update for preview, after which the public rollout will commence. The idea has always been to contain issues if a major bug is found in the build. However, we haven’t heard of any problem, but we will recommend backing up your data before installing the update.
