Xiaomi has extended the Android 14-based HyperOS update to the 12 Pro. Those in Europe are getting the much-anticipated upgrade, which is currently exclusive to Mi Pilots members. We expect the public to start getting the update in the coming days, but you can download the Recovery ROM using the link below.
Xiaomi 12 Pro Android 14-based HyperOS update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.2.0.ULBEUXM. It comes with all the anticipated features while bumping the Android security patch level to January 2024 to increase system security and stability. You will notice some changes in the control center after the upgrade, but that seems to have some issues.
Also, Xiaomi redesigned the weather app while introducing a new animation language to make it smoother. There are new system fonts and home screen icons to improve the user’s experience. Unfortunately, some issues are being reported after the upgrade, and we recommend checking them out before installing the update.
Again, the update is available for limited users and will take two weeks to start seeding for everyone. While waiting for the OTA, ensure your bootloader is locked and back up your data as well.
