Xiaomi has started rolling out the Android 14-based HyperOS update in Europe for the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. The update is available for limited users pending the outcome of the beta preview. However, you can download the Recovery ROM and install it manually if you have a Mi Beta account.
It has been only a few days since the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE Android 14 HyperOS update was released in China. There’s usually a two-week interval between Chinese and Global releases, but not this time. Those in Europe are getting the much-anticipated upgrade, which brings all the anticipated features.
The update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.1.0.UKOEUXM. Aside from introducing all the HyperOS and Android 14 features, the update bumped the Android security patch level to February 2024 to increase system security and stability. We recommend backing up your data before installing the update, as there are reports of phones stuck on the Mi Logo after the upgrade.
