Xiaomi has extended the HyperOS rollout to the Pad 5 Pro Wi-Fi models. The device is getting the much-anticipated upgrade in China, and only a few users are receiving the update for preview. However, you can install the build manually with an authorized Mi Beta account.
It has been weeks since the Xiaomi Pad 5 series HyperOS update was confirmed, but unfortunately, the update won’t bring a new Android OS upgrade. The Tablet has received two OS upgrades, which is probably the maximum support. However, with the HyperOS release, Xiaomi has introduced some new features and optimized performance.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro Wi-Fi HyperOS update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.1.0.TKYCNXM. It brings Xiaomi Hyperconnect for a seamless end-device connection, End-to-end security, Vibrant aesthetics, and more. Also, the update has introduced new system fonts and home screen icons while improving security by bumping the Android security patch level to February 2024.
You can check for the update via the updater app or use the link below to download the Recovery ROM and install it manually. However, ensure you have a locked bootloader before installing the build and check all the reported HyperOS bugs. There has been a report of some devices stuck in the Mi Logo after the upgrade, and we recommend waiting for feedback before upgrading.
