Xiaomi has started rolling out the Global Redmi Note 13 Android 14 update to select devices. The latest release is a ”stable beta” meaning only Mi Pilot members can install the update for preview. However, you can download and install the build with an authorized Mi Beta account.
Xiaomi has been rolling out the Android 14 HyperOS update to the Redmi Note 13 series but has only released the update to the global Redmi Note 13 units. The update is seeding in batch, and only those with a Beta account can install the build. They will preview the ROM for bugs, and with their feedback, Xiaomi will decide whether to release the update to everyone or develop a new ROM.
Nevertheless, we expect more people to start getting the upgrade in the coming days, as we have not seen a report of a major issue after installing the HyperOS update on the Redmi Note 13 series. We recommend installing the update when prompted but make sure you back up your data.
The Redmi Note 13 Android 14 HyperOS update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.2.0.UNGMIXM. Aside from introducing all the expected features, it bumps the Android security patch level to March 2024 to increase system security and stability.
