Samsung has started rolling out the much-anticipated One UI 6.1 update that first arrived with the Galaxy S24 series. The update brings some new features, the most notable being the Galaxy AI. Currently, only select users are getting the update, with more people expected to receive it soon.
We knew Samsung will start rolling out the One UI 6.1 update today, March 28, 2024. Since the company already started rolling out the April 2024 security patch update, we thought the new update would deliver the latest patch, but that’s not the case. At least, the Galaxy S23 users getting One UI 6.1 will probably get a new update soon.
The update is rolling out with version number S91xBXXU3CXCF and weighs about 3GB. We recommend installing over Wi-Fi to avoid incurring extra charges.
According to reports, the update is currently live in Germany, the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, and other European countries. However, it seems some features like AOD wallpaper and super HDR are missing, meaning they could be exclusive to the Galaxy S24 series.
Also, some languages are still missing the AI features, with Samsung saying it will be available later in the year. Nevertheless, we recommend installing the update as it brings some interesting features while improving performance.
