A camera sample from Huawei P60 Pro surfaces on the internet

The Huawei P60 Pro seems like it’s going to be a no-brainer as the brand decides to flex a picture taken with the smartphone. Huawei CEO Richard Yu is leading his firm through difficult times, but he and his staff have not lost their love of photography. This “random shot”(via GSMArena) from an undisclosed forthcoming phone was released by the CEO.

Yu didn’t try to disguise which phone that is, the Weibo post is captioned “from Huawei P60 Pro ” -This is most likely a telephoto camera shot. This camera is believed to include a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor and a 3.5x magnification lens. Surprisingly, this sensor is said to include a RYYB color filter, a long-standing Huawei specialty.

Other details of the Huawei P60 Pro

The other cameras should be a pair of 50MP Sony IMX888s in the main and one IMX858 in the ultra-wide. Unconfirmed specifications include a 6.6-inch QHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz (1,920Hz PWM dimming), a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging, an IP68 rating, and HarmonyOS 3.0.

The original story suggested that the Huawei P60 Pro will employ a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, while further leaks indicated that the 8 Gen 2 would be used instead (note: in both cases, we are talking about 4G-only chips due to trade restrictions). A standard Huawei P60 is also expected, with a 52+50+16MP configuration (IMX789 main, IMX858 ultra-wide, and IMX351 for the tele module).

Coming back to the camera example supplied by Huawei’s CEO, it’s a truly tough photo – not only did the phone have an adequate dynamic range for the artificially lighted building on a pitch-black background, but it also managed to discern detail in the moon. Although we don’t believe the “random photo” claim, that is quite a stretch. Huawei is anticipated to launch the P60 series later this month.
