A new Global Android 14-based MIUI 14 update is now rolling out

Ahead of the general release, Xiaomi has released a new Android 14-based MIUI 14 update to limited users. The Chinese company is still previewing the build for bugs and is rolling out a new update to the Xiaomi 13 series and Xiaomi 12T.

new Global Android 14

It has been weeks since the first Android 14-based MIUI 14 update was released to the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 12T. Xiaomi has limited the rollout to Global and European users, and with the new release, nothing has changed regarding the regions where these updates are available.

They’re rolling out a new Global Android 14-based MIUI 14 update to register Android 14 beta testers. As usual, the update focuses on bug fixes, improving stability and performance. It’s available with version numbers:

  • MIUI14.0.6.0.UMCMIXM (Xiaomi 13)
  • MIUI 14.0.6.0.UMCEUXM (Xiaomi 13)
  • MIUI 14.0.6.0.UMBMIXM (Xiaomi 13 Pro)
  • MIUI 14.0.6.0.UMBEUXM (Xiaomi 13 Pro)
  • MIUI 14.0.7.0.ULQMIXM (Xiaomi 12T)
  • MIUI 14.0.6.0.ULQEUXM (Xiaomi 12T)

It weighs about 5.3GB, and according to the changelog, it has resolved Notification shade disappearing in certain cases on the Xiaomi 12T. If you’re a registered beta tester, you will receive an OTA, or you can check for a new update via the updater app. Don’t forget to join the Android 14 beta group to make your suggestions and comments about the update.

When will I receive Android 14-based MIUI 14 update?

The Android 14 update is likely to arrive with the new HyperOS, given that we might not see a public release until January. If that’s the case, we expect eligible Global users to receive the Android 14 upgrade with the recently announced HyperOS. However, if you’re using Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 12T, which are currently testing Android 14, you will likely receive a stable Android 14 with MIUI 14 update.
