On November 26 in China, Xiaomi will officially debut a new Redmi Note 9 series phone. The Chinese OEM is expected to announce three new phones, which according to early reports, are Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 9 5G, and Redmi Note 9 4G. And just a few days before the official unveiling, a supposed Redmi Note 9 4G price has surfaced on the internet.
According to reports coming out from China via a Tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Redmi Note 9 4G will have a standard RAM configuration of 4GB. There’s also 8GB RAM, which is going to be paired with 128GB internal storage. Looking at the images posted on Twitter, the 4/128GB will start at ¥1099 (~$167), while the 8/128GB combo will start at ¥1399 (~$213). It’s unclear if there are going to be other memory configurations, and we hope to find out soon.
Of course, these prices are all rumors till the official announcement, which has been scheduled to hold on November 26. However, we expect to see similar pricing at the unveiling, considering how Redmi General manager, Lu Weibing, has been hinting at a ¥1000 (~$152) Redmi Note phone for a while now.
As for the specs, the Redmi Note 9 4G is rumored to run a Snapdragon 662 Octa-Core processor and is believed to be a rebadged POCO M3 that’s going to launch in two days. The display will sport a 6.53-inch IPS panel and will be equipped with a massive 6000mAh battery and 18W fast charging solution. We might as well see a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
