The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is one of the newly released Redmi Note 9 series phones that were launched in China a couple of days ago. It’s the most sophisticated of the three, having borrowed most of the Mi 10T Lite features. There’s an extra flavor with the primary Samsung HM2 108MP sensor, which is flanked by three additional sensors. You can purchase the device in China from December 1 for as low as $243.

The device is codenamed gauguin and is now receiving a stable update, even though official sales started today. However, you will get the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G update once you finish setting up your device. It has a version number, MIUI 12.0.4.0 QJSCNXM, which is to improve system performance, security, and stability.

Xiaomi is pushing a new stable MIUI 12.5 update the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. The MIUI 12.5.3.0 RJSCNXM update brings the Android security patch of June 2021 to increase system security and stability. It won’t be long till Xiaomi starts pushing stable MIUI 12.5 update since the 4G variants are now running the new MIUI OS.
