Alleged Xiaomi Mi A3 pass certification

The Xiaomi A-series is exclusively for Android One program, meaning the device only runs Stock Android and cannot be altered by the company. As things are turning out, is like we’re about to time Xiaomi unveils it’s next Android One device.

A device which seems to be a variant of the newly launched Mi CC9e but with a model number M1906F9SH just passed through Federal Communication Commission (FCC). The alleged Xiaomi Mi A3 has also received approval from both the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and Singapore’s IMDA Authorities in the last couple of months.

According to images that appeared on FCC documentation, the alleged Mi A3 is probably Xaomi Mi CC9e. The image, shows a device with a triple camera arrangement at the back panel, no fingerprint scanner could be seen, but a confirmation that the device will run Stock Android. The image also revealed the measurements as 71 x 153mm with a diagonal length of 162mm, which corresponds with that of Mi CC9e. Hence, we can easily allege that the Xiaomi Mi A3 will sport a 6.01 display.

At the back, we can see a vertical cavity for the camera and a punch hole for the LED-Flash below it. The Android One logo can be seen at the bottom side of the panel, but none of the specifications have been revealed via the certification. However, going by the recent leaks and rumors, the Xiaomi Mi A3 might just be a renamed Mi CC9e.

Is not surprising actually, considering how Xiaomi renames its devices for different markets, which is exactly what we witnessed in Redmi K20. The device is known as Redmi K20 in China while globally, it’s called Xiaomi Mi 9T.
