Xiaomi has been around for over ten years, having commemorated its tenth anniversary a couple of months ago. As a company that offers value for money smartphones, they have penetrated most European countries – Turkey included. All Xiaomi sold in Turkey have their MIUI build, which is designated with “TR.” According to recent reports, Xiaomi has released the first Android 11 update for Mi 10 and POCO F2 Pro in Turkey. Surprisingly, the update is a stable release, meaning it has been released for everyone, and you can successfully install the Recovery ROM.
Xiaomi has a particular approach, perhaps the same other smartphone makers. The company has a group of people called Mi Pilots (Beta Stable testers). Their work is to preview early MIUI updates for bugs before it is rolled out to the public. However, it looks like the Android 11 update for Mi 10 and POCO F2 Pro is safe, having been tagged “Stable.” To some extent, it means the update is safe to install, but you should back up your data before proceeding.
Meanwhile, the update will arrive as MIUI 12.2.2.0 RJBTRXM on the Mi 10, while the POCO F2 Pro will receive a stable MIUI 12.2.1.0 RJKTRXM. Aside from pushing the Android OS to the current version, it has bumped the security patch level to March 2021 and increased system security. You can check for the update via system updates or use the links below for manual flash.
Note: the Android 11 update for Mi 10 and POCO F2 Pro in Turkey is the first cross-section Android upgrade for the device. You might need to perform a factory reset after Installing the build to have it working.
