They never stop discussing the phone and will always ask questions once there’s a new development. Recently, Google released Android beta, which the brand is already rolling out to it’s latest flagship phone – POCO F2 Pro.
There have been a lot of questions on whether the Android 11 update for POCO X2 will happen. Even before the official confirmation from the brand, it’s obvious the update will arrive for the device given how the company rolls out OS update. It’s important to note here that the Android 11 update for POCO X2 that will be rolling out soon is the beta version. Haven said that the update is still unstable and contains some bugs. Also, it’s yet to be certified by Google Pay, and thus, you should avoid the update completely if you make use of Gpay.
Regarding when the stable build will be available, we are looking at Q4 of this year. It’s recommended that you wait for the stable build, especially if you make use of Google Pay or apps that require your financial details.
Meanwhile, it’s still unclear if the update will arrive as a part of MIUI 12 or MIUI 11 given that the device is yet to start receiving the new Android skin. The former is more likely as Xiaomi is about to initiate the second phase of the MIUI 12 rollout, with Redmi Note 8 Pro getting the update last week.
We will update you when the company finally releases the Android 11 update for POCO X2 and also the MIUI 12. And considering that the Redmi K30 4G with the same development has received the update in China, it’s fair to say that of POCO X2 is imminent.
