The latest Android operating system, Android 11 has been around for some time now, with some OEMs already rolling out the stable version to their devices. Xiaomi, a company that prioritizes software upgrades has already rolled out the update to a few of its phones while it continues internal and public beta tests for other eligible phones.
A couple of days ago, the Chinese OEM started rolling out the Android 11 update to the users of Mi 10 in China. The update, which is coming as MIUI 12.2.20 RJBCNXM, brings some new features and optimization as well as the latest security patch. The same update is now available for the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom users.
The Android 11 update for Redmi K30 Pro Zoom is coming with a version number, MIUI 12.1.3.0 RJKCNXM, and weighs in at 3.3GB. Of course, it comes with all the features of Android 11 and has bumped the security patch to the latest one.
Going by the comments on the Xiaomi Mi community forum via Gizchina, the Android 11 update for Redmi K30 Pro Zoom introduced a few bugs. It includes battery-related issues, minor sound system issues, and others.
Nevertheless, those are minor issues and are common with cross-section Android upgrades. If you encounter such an issue after updating your Redmi K30 Pro Zoom to the latest Android OS, you should perform a factory reset to get the system working properly. But before carrying out such a task, make sure you backup your data to a new location.
