Unofficial report: Xiaomi Mi A3 begins internal testing of Android 11
The Xiaomi Mi A3 got the Android 10 update late, but that didn’t exempt the update from bugs, which has become part of Android one updates. These issues and bugs are probably why the company suspended the program, but that hasn’t stopped the monthly security fix from coming and in time. However, it seems the company is now focusing on bringing the Android 11 update to the Mi A3, according to a report.
Going by a telegram group, Xiaoimiui, developers are currently working on the Android 11 update for the Mi A3. The device is said to be testing the update internally along with other Xiaomi phones. However, the news isn’t coming from the company, but considering the rate at which OEMs are adopting the latest Android OS, we believe the report to be true.
Of course, an Android 11 update for the Mi A3 is going to happen, but the time frame is what we don’t know. As an Android One device, two OS upgrades were promised, and the device received it first OS update, which is Android 10 a couple of months ago, having debuted with Android 9.
