The stable Android 14 update was supposed to start rolling out for Pixel phones yesterday, but a last-minute change saw it delayed. Although Google never said anything about a release date, the latest Android 14 beta 5.3 update means the recent reports are likely to be true.

Google will supposedly release the stable Android 14 update on October 4, and the latest Beta release points towards that. Perhaps these bugs addressed with Android 14 beta 5.3 might be the reason for the delay. Notably, the tech company has moved to a single build for Pixel phones, Tablet, and Pixel Fold.

They’re seeding the update with a build version UPB5.230623.009. It’s available for all registered Beta testers via OTA and brings nine bug fixes. Unfortunately, the Android security patch is still in August, meaning a new update will likely roll out in the coming days.

Nevertheless, we recommend installing the build if you’re a beta tester to improve your device performance. Below are all the bugs addressed with the Android 14 Beta 5.3 update.
