Google is rolling out a new Android Auto update. The company is currently seeding Android Auto 10.6 beta, exclusive to beta testers, and hopefully, it will address the issues being reported by users.
Over the past few days, there have been reports of Android Auto bugs. We reported the Audio volume issue that made it impossible to adjust the volume on all media apps. Also, the problem of the navigation bar disappearing and leaving a black space. And while these issues are not exclusive to a particular Android Auto version, we hope the Android Auto 10.6 beta update resolves them.
Google is rolling out Android Auto 10.6.634004 to beta testers. It weighs about 38MB and is available for download on the Play Store. Unfortunately, the update doesn’t come with a changelog, making it impossible to say whether the issues have been resolved or if new features are introduced. Nevertheless, since it’s a performance and bug fix update, we expect at least one of the issues reported to be addressed.

The latest update is exclusive to those in the Google Beta program. Meanwhile, those on stable channels can side-load the app by installing the APK version on their Android phone running Android 8.0 and later. Of course, the update is available on the Google Play store.
So far, we are yet to confirm if any bugs have been resolved, but you can let us know in the comments if you find any. We will update this post once we confirm any bugs have been fixed.
