Android Auto 10.9 update is now available for download

A few days after Google released the Android Auto 10.8 stable update, the company is pushing out a new update. The latest release is rolling out for beta users, but you can download the update if you wish to try out the new build before it becomes available to the public. 

We now see a new Android Auto update every fortnight, though sometimes, it brings new bugs. However, Google is doing a good job solving these issues, which is perhaps why we see a new Android Auto update often. The new Android Auto 10.9 update brings optimization and bug fixes. 

Google doesn’t release a new Android Auto update with a changelog, making it impossible to say what the new update brings. However, it always focuses on bug fixes and system improvements while introducing new features Google is working on for limited users to preview. 

There is evidence that Google is working on custom wallpaper support for Android Auto users. It will make it possible to use their phone’s Wallpaper on Android Auto, with the introduction of an option named ” use phone’s Wallpaper on Android Auto.” We expect the feature to arrive for more people with the latest release, and hopefully, we will see it in a stable channel soon.

Google is rolling out the Android Auto 10.9.1345 via the Google Play store. Alternatively, you can download the APK file from APKmirror and install it manually. You should be running Android 8 or later to install the latest update.
