Google has paid more attention to its Android Auto app in the past couple of months by releasing updates to address issues affecting the app. It also introduced some features, of which the Coolwalk redesign got the most attention. However, the tech company is yet to enable the redesign for everyone, and that makes each new Android Auto update the most to download.
It’s been months since the Coolwalk redesign arrived for beta users, while only a few users on the stable channel have it enabled. With each new update, Google brings the feature to more users, and we expect the Android Auto 8.8 beta to do the same.
The new update is exclusive to beta testers, but you can join the Android Auto beta via the link. It has version number V8.8.130344 and weighs about 24MB. According to the changelog, the update resolved bugs and improved performance, and we expect more users to get the Coolwalk redesign after upgrading to Android Auto 8.8.
