Google is recruiting new Android Auto beta testers

Android Auto has seen many revamps in the last few years, with the latest arriving a couple of weeks ago. The new feature, which focuses on split-screen, has been exclusive to beta testers. However, it seems Google has opened up the Android Auto beta recruitment program to allow more people to test the latest addition.

Google has been introducing new features to Android Auto, but the recent addition – Coolwalk – seems to make a lot of sense. With the latest update, you can have both Google Maps and Spotify simultaneously. Interestingly, the UI is flexible and can adapt to different screen sizes while displaying quick access to your frequently used apps.

As always, only those participating in the Android Auto beta program got the latest addition. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way around that, but it seems Google has decided to let more people test the feature. They’ve supposedly opened up the Android Auto beta program.

How to join the Android Auto beta program

According to reports, slots are limited to a few countries, which might include the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and most parts of Europe. While most people have since joined using the signup prompt in the Play store, it seems not everyone can go that route.

However, using the Android Auto beta program direct link, you can become a tester by clicking “Become a Tester” at the bottom of the page. After that, you should get a new update via Play Store with the new feature – Coolwalk.
