Android Auto 8.9 beta now available for download
Google continues to update its Android Auto app to bring the Coolwalk feature to more people. The tech company is currently rolling out a new update exclusive to beta users, with the public expected to receive the same update in the future.
Android Auto has seen many revamps in the past months. The most notable of them, the Coolwalk feature, is yet to arrive for everyone as Google is deploying the changes in batches. Released on January 6, 2023, the Android Auto 8.9 beta weighs about 13.28MB. It brings some improvements and bug fixes while enabling the Coolwalk feature for more people. Also, initiating calls via WhatsApp and a few other tweaks are expected to be part of the new update.
