Android Auto 9.3 stable starts rolling out with the Start App feature

Google released a new beta update to Android Auto days ago with new features. The tech company is now releasing the update to the public as a new Android Auto 9.3 stable build starts rolling out. As usual, the update is seeding in batches and might take some days before arriving on your device.

With every new Android Auto update, Google adds new features to the app. The latest features include Starting App, while the media control widget has been revamped. There have also been optimizations and bug fixes.

The new Starting App feature allows users to configure apps that’ll load when the Android Auto app is launched. When Google Maps is pre-selected, it starts once the app starts. Of course, you can select other navigation apps like Waze. 

While the media control widget has been present since it has been redesigned. The pause icon is more flexible and allows you to pause a music playback without opening the app. 

Also, the Android Auto 9.3 stable seems to have enabled the Coolwalk feature redesign for more people. Google has been rolling out the feature but brings it to more people with a new Android Auto update release. You can download the latest update using the links below.
