Google was adding this feature in December to allow the Android Auto users to respond to text messages with one tap using the Smart reply and Google assistant. Well, the update is confirmed in the latest Android Auto beta release, version 7.6.1215. The Android Auto update works in such an amazing manner. The Google assistant reads out incoming messages, while the Google Auto suggests a reply, though might not be very useful, you can still communicate with a single tap. Then the message is sent through your preferred messaging app.
