Xiaomi started deploying the April security patch update to its phones hours ago, with the POCO M2, the first device to receive the update, even before the Android One Mi A3 phone. We expected more phones to receive the update in the coming days, and according to reports, the April 2002 security patch update for Redmi Note 10 Pro has been released.
The update is currently available in Europe with a software version number MIUI 12.0.8.0 SKFEUXM and weighs 585MB. It’s a security patch build, and as such, has bumped the Android security patch level to April 2022. Aside from increasing system security and stability, the update patched over 88 security and privacy vulnerabilities delivered with the April patch. However, we believe there’s more to the April 2022 security patch for Redmi Note 10 Pro because of the massive build size.
Perhaps, Xiaomi has included some bug fixes and optimization considering the issues reported by early Android 12-based MIUI 13 update adopters. While we suggest that you download and install the update, it might take time before arriving on your device. The update is OTA bound and would likely take some delay before reaching all eligible units. Nevertheless, you can use the link below and install it manually.
