Xiaomi has started rolling out the April 2024 security patch update to eligible phones. The Chinese tech company is currently seeding the update to limited users, with more phones expected to start getting it soon.

Google released the April 2024 security bulletin a few days ago, detailing all the security flaws that have been resolved. According to the listing, 8 security vulnerabilities were fixed with the patch dated 2024-04-02 and 20 on the 2024-04-05 patch. That’s 28 fixes ranging from high to critical, and with the April 2024 security patch update, Xiaomi phones are getting these fixes. 

Meanwhile, only the Redmi A1 / A1+ / POCO C50 users are getting the April 2024 security patch update, which is limited to Indians. The update is rolling out with a version number MIUI 13.0.14.0 SGMINXM. Aside from resolving security issues, the update improves performance and delivers new features.

Only the Redmi A1 / A1+ / POCO C50 is getting the latest patch update. You can download the Recovery and Flash manually here.  The update is also available for those In Europe and Global users. It is rolling out with version numbers MIUI 13.016.0 SGMEUXM and MIUI 13.0.22.0 SGMMIXM, respectively. You can download the Recovery ROM by clicking the build numbers.

Xiaomi Redmi 12 is now getting the April 2024 security patch to increase system security. The update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.5.0.UMXIDXM. From the build number, it’s for those in Indonesia and you can download here: Recovery
