August 2023 security patch released for Pixel phones
With other OEMs rolling out the August 2023 security patch update, Pixel phones are not getting the much-anticipated update. The update is seeding to all eligible users and would arrive via OTA.
The August 2023 security patch update for Pixel phones is rolling out with a version number TQ3A.230805.001 and weighs 21.43MB. According to the latest Android bulletin, the patch dated 2023-08-01 resolved 39 issues, while 2023-08-05 fixed 9 vulnerabilities ranging from high to critical.
Also, it lists additional 5 security fixes, with separate builds for Japan, T-Mobile & MVNOs, Google Fi (US), and Verizon & MVNOs (US).
Of course, the update is available for Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet and Pixel Fold. You can download the Live images via the source link.
