Xiaomi has already released some affordable 5G enabled smartphones into the market this year, and it doesn’t plan to slow down anytime soon. The company, as usual, is partnering with Qualcomm to make 5G enabled smartphones even more affordable from 2021. The Mi 10 Ultra isn’t just the most powerful Xiaomi phone yet, but also the best performing Android phone, according to AnTuTu Benchmark. We have all been expecting this for some time now, and finally, the Mi Mix 3 5G users can rejoice. A couple of months ago, there was big doubt if the Mi Mix 3 5G will receive the stable MIUI 12 update, given that the device still runs the pre-installed MIUI skin. Hope came when Xiaomi, through its UK customer support, promised to roll out a security patch update and the MIUI 12 in July and October, respectively. Back in April, when Xiaomi introduced the MIUI 12 in China, the Redmi Note 8 was in a closed beta testing for Android 10, and because of that, MIUI 12 closed beta test was delayed for the device. Meanwhile, the device has since received its first MIUI 12 beta update, which was based on Android 10. It has also continued to pick the weekly beta updates and has now picked that of this week. It’s unfortunate that almost one year since Google released the stable Android 10 update, some device is yet to pick up the update. Most of these phones are mid-rangers, and their manufacturers don’t see updates as a priority given the affordable price tag.
