After all the disappointments, Xiaomi finally released a stable MIUI 12 for Redmi Note 8 a couple of days ago. Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is believed to be gearing up for the launch of new Redmi Note phones. The supposed Redmi Note 9 5G and Note 9 5G Pro with model numbers M2007J22C and M2007J17C, respectively, already appeared on TENAA, where almost all their specs were revealed. Xiaomi has now started sending out a stable MIUI 12 update to the Mi 8 Pro, days after the vanilla version grabbed the update globally. It’s also the global version of the Mi 8 Pro that’s receiving the feature-packed MIUI 12 update for the first time. But as usual with all OTA updates, it will take some time before appearing on all eligible units. The update, which comes as MIUI 12.0.1.0 QECMIXM, weighs in at 726MB.
