Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 8 last year in August, running Android 9 based on MIUI 11. It’s no surprise why the many questions about the Redmi Note 8T Android 10 update. The phone is the same with the regular Redmi Note 8 but offers NFC. POCO F2 Pro started receiving a stable MIUI 12 update yesterday, even without undergoing a beta phase. POCO F1 users were hoping to follow the same trail but received a rather underwhelming update this morning. Currently arriving via OTA on the device, is a stable MIUI 11 based Android 10 update that brings the latest Android security patch.  The latest POCO F1 Global stable update has a version number ” MIUI 11.0.9.0 QEJMIXM”, and weighs in at 154MB. A few days ago, the Xiaomi Mi A3 users woke up to a 1.40GB OTA update that appears to bring the July security patch. But unfortunately, it was something entirely different after they downloaded the update. It disabled the device Dual-SIM functionality, changed the boot animation logo, and then added two system apps. The update had a weird version number “V11.0.3.0.QFQMXTC”, but, unfortunately, you can’t see the version number of Xiaomi Android One updates until you finish installing it. Since the official unveiling of MIUI 12, Xiaomi has been busy with closed beta testing and has recently started rolling out the stable version of the update to eligible phones.
