Xiaomi, as expected, has officially announced the Mi 10 Ultra in a virtual event to commemorate its tenth anniversary. The device shows how far the Chinese OEM has come in the last ten years. The Mi A3 remains the latest offering by Xiaomi to run the Stock version of Android, having been released under the Android One program. And as such, under the Android One guidelines, it’s expected to receive two OS updates, and at least, three years of security patch support. Xiaomi started upgrading the Mi Mix 3 to MIUI 12 a few days ago in China, while the 5G variant was hoping for a security patch update. The company, through its UK Customer support, promised an update in June, and MIUI 12 in October. Unfortunately, the security patch update for Mi Mix 3 5G didn’t arrive at that time, but that can’t be said now as a new update starts arriving for the device. The POCO F1 was expected to receive its first Stable Beta MIUI 12 update a couple of weeks after the Mi Pilots for the device were selected. However, due to some bugs and system stability issues, the update was postponed a couple of times.
