A few days ago, the Xiaomi Mi A3 users woke up to a 1.40GB OTA update that appears to bring the July security patch. But unfortunately, it was something entirely different after they downloaded the update. It disabled the device Dual-SIM functionality, changed the boot animation logo, and then added two system apps. Since the official unveiling of MIUI 12, Xiaomi has been busy with closed beta testing and has recently started rolling out the stable version of the update to eligible phones.
