POCO has introduced yet another device to its bunch of affordable smartphones. This time, it’s the Pro version of last year’s POCO M3 and is dubbed POCO M3 Pro (5G). The device is an upgrade to the latter, but the former will have a better battery life because of the battery capacity. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with Xiaomi phones without complicating them. For instance, there’s global Redmi Note 9 series and a different version for the Chinese markets. The Chinese version is also available globally under monikers like Redmi Note 9T, Redmi 9T, and Mi 10T Lite / Mi 10i. One of them, Redmi Note 9 5G / Redmi Note 9T, is now receiving a new MIUI 12.5 update in China, which brings along the much-anticipated Android 11.  The latest Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi Note 9 5G / Redmi Note 9T is a stable release. It…

However, you might have to wait for some days before the stable MIUI 12.5 update for Redmi Note 10 Pro in Europe arrives on your device. With MIUI 12.5, Xiaomi has…

Perhaps, the idea that Mediatek powered devices don’t get updates on time might be true. Xiaomi has already upgraded a good number of its phones to Android 11, but those running Mediatek chips are yet to be upgraded. It’s not just Redmi Note 8 Pro, the Redmi K30 Ultra is yet to receive the Android 11 update. Only closed beta testers received the update months ago and not the public. It means the build isn’t stable enough yet to start rolling out for the public. That’s essentially the same with Redmi Note 8 Pro, and with a new stable update…

Check below for latest releases… Among Xiaomi mid-range offerings, only the Redmi 9 will receive MIUI 12.5 on the first wave. The update will start rolling out next month, and probably due to that reason, a new update for the Redmi 9 has been released for fortify the device. Also receiving an update is the Redmi 8, which has pushed the Android security patch level to the latest one to increase system security. It’s been weeks since Xiaomi started pushing the March security patch update, and so far, a handful of phones have received the update already. The latest devices…
