Battery drains faster after ROM 9.3.21 update
Xiaomi released a Beta update to its phones last week with a version number MIUI 9.3.21. The update has already made it to all compatible device and most people have already installed it. However, according to recent reports, the update has affected battery performance on some devices.
On the POCO F1, users are complaining of getting just 6.5hours after a full charge with their phone since after updating the Global Beta 9.3.21. A user even went to the extent of doing a factory reset on his phone and battery calibration but the bug still remains and nothing about the battery seem to be improving.
Aside from the battery issues which is the only bug reported until now, the MIUI 9.3.21 did bring some interesting features to the POCO F1. It came along with Game Turbo which featured in MI 9, MI 9 SE and the Redmi Note 7 series. Some bugs have also been fixed, ghost touch, touch freezing, lags and other bugs you can find here.
Therefore, depending on how fast your battery drains you might consider rolling back to the previous update or rather wait on the next Beta update, which will definitely fix the bug. And if you’re yet to update the latest Global Beta, you might have to wait for the next update.
