Another big update is tipped to arrive for Galaxy S23 users before One UI 6

Like other OEMs, Samsung has been working on the next generation of its Android skin. The beta build will start seeding in July, which will be based on Android 14. Before the One UI 6 starts rolling out, Samsung Galaxy S23 units have been tipped to receive a “big update” to resolve issues.

Big update for Galaxy S23 series

According to Ice Universe, Samsung will release a huge update to the Galaxy S23 series before the stable One UI 6 starts rolling out. The update will resolve issues affecting the device and improve the device’s performance. There’s no mention of any new features, but we hope to see some changes in the camera.

Meanwhile, the latest “big update” that arrived as the June 2023 security update didn’t do much. From reports, there are still issues with the device camera, which include banding when using night mode, noise on low-light pictures using auto modes, and more.

Perhaps, the upcoming update will address some of these issues and fortify the device ahead of a seamless upgrade to Android 14. Nevertheless, there’s no ETA when the update will start seeding, but we might likely see it next month.

Samsung plans to start rolling out the Android 14-based One UI 6 update in July. We believe the supposed “big update” for the Galaxy S23 series will arrive before then. You can follow us on Telegram to know when the update starts rolling out.
