Black shark tries to show the muscles of their new gaming phone but still managed to keep an elegant design. The device is engineered using metal and glass while keeping the X themed design. It has a new camera housing which also comes at the bottom of the device to make everything symmetrical as usual. Interestingly, the 3.5mm headphone jack made a comeback.

The display sports a 7.1-inch super AMOLED panel. It’s the first time a phone is getting the display size of a tablet. However, it stretches the resolution to 1440 x 3120px and supports over 1 billion colors with 10-bit color depth. The panel supports a 90hz refresh rate and 270hz touch sensing that combines 24ms touch response time and 28ms multi-touch response time to minimize lags during gaming. It also supports DCI-P3 and HDR10+ for accurate detail and color representation.

Behind the robust performance of the Black Shark 3 Pro is the latest premium Qualcomm 800 series offering. The processor is paired with 12GB LDDPR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 256 internal storage. The device runs Android 10 out of the box.
And to enhance your gaming experience, the Shark 3 Pro comes with a mechanical gaming button on the right side. The buttons are 21mm long and feature 1.5mm keystrokes. There’s a new special sandwich Cooling system and a dual-battery design with an 116mm motherboard placed in-between. Black shark placed the CPU and 5G components far from each other, with a distance of 39mm from the motherboard. And if you start needing extra heat dissipation, there’s an ice-cooling external fan for the device.
There’s special voice control that allows you to perform basic actions on some popular games. For instance, when you call out “grenade” in a gaming section, the player will throw out grenades.

The Black Shark 3 Pro is not a camera powerhouse but comes with exciting features. Its primary 64MP camera has an F/1.7 aperture, flanked by a 120° wide-angle lens and a 5MP depth sensor. It has a 20MP front-facing snapper for taking selfies and video calls.

You’ll charge the Black Shark 3 Pro in a record time of 38 minutes. The device supports a 65W flash charge and 18W magnetic charge, which you can snap at the back during gaming. Meanwhile, you make use of a USB-C port to charge the 5000mAh battery.

The device comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. And coupled with the high refresh rate, you will get a quick response time. You will also unlock your device with a wet or excessively dry finger.

The Black Shark 3 Pro price starts from $663 for the 8GB RAM 256GB ROM version while the more premium 12GB + 256GB version will sell for $720. You can pre-order the device from March 10 with the official sale scheduled for March 17.
