Step #3: Open the Screenshots folder’s Properties

Right-click on the Screenshots folder and select Properties from the context menu. This will open the Screenshots Properties window.

Step #4: Go to the Location tab

Within the Screenshots Properties window, go to the Location tab. This tab displays the current location of the Screenshots folder.

Step #5: Click on the Move button

To change where screenshots are saved by default, click on the Move button. This will open the Select a Destination window.

Step #6: Choose a new location for the Screenshots folder

In the Select a Destination window, choose a new location for the Screenshots folder. This can be any folder on your PC or an external hard drive. Once you have selected a new location, click on the Select Folder button.

Step #7: Apply and Save the changes

Click on the Apply button to save the changes. Windows will prompt you to confirm whether you want to move all the files from the old location to the new location.
