For many iPhone users, the default email signature that appears at the end of every email they send can be a bit of an annoyance. The signature reads “Sent from my iPhone” and while it may seem harmless, some people prefer not to have it at the bottom of their messages. Fortunately, it’s very easy to disable this signature in the Mail app on your iPhone. Here’s how:

Sent from my iPhone

Disable ‘Sent from my iPhone’ signature in Mail

Follow the steps below to disable the “Sent from my iPhone”  signature:

advertisement

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone

2. Scroll down until you see “Mail” and tap on it

3. Scroll down to the bottom of the Mail settings page and tap on “Signature”

4. Find the signature that reads “Sent from my iPhone” and delete it

5. If you’d like, you can replace the default signature with a custom one of your own by typing it in the text box

6. Once you’ve made your changes, simply close the Settings app and your new signature will be saved

And that’s it! Now when you send an email from your iPhone, the “Sent from my iPhone” signature will no longer be included in the bottom of your message. This can be particularly helpful if you want to give your emails a more professional look, or if you just prefer to keep your phone model a private matter.

Keep in mind that if you have multiple email accounts set up on your iPhone, you will need to change the signature for each one individually. To do this, simply repeat the steps above for each email account.

In conclusion, disabling the “Sent from my iPhone” signature is a quick and easy way to give your emails a more polished look, and it only takes a few seconds to do. So why not take a moment to personalize your email signature today?
