Google has started rolling out a new update to its camera app. The latest update has bumped the app to V8.6 while introducing some Material You functions.
The Google camera app remains the most popular app among smartphone photography enthusiasts, but that hasn’t stopped the tech company from rolling out updates to improve the app. A couple of weeks ago, the app received an update that bumped the version to V8.5, and with Google camera 8.6 now rolling out, the company has introduced some new tweaks.
Google Camera 8.6 has seen some minor revamp with the buttons for Panorama, Photo Sphere, and Lens now arranged on a rectangular rounded container. It has also been moved down the screen for easy accessibility.
There has been an introduction of speech enhancement, perhaps to improve audio when recording videos. Interestingly, you might get the camouflage tools if you’re using the Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro.
Meanwhile, the Google camera 8.6 is currently available on Google Play Store. It only works on Pixel 4 and later, while we expect the Gcam 8.6 mod in the coming days. You should follow us on Telegram to know when the mod version becomes available.
