Google Camera 8.5 is now available for download

Google is currently rolling out a new update to its camera app. The latest release brings the app to version 8.5 and is exclusive to Google Pixel phones. Perhaps, the company is already preparing for the Google Pixel 6a release.

With each new Google phone, the company usually releases an update to its camera app. The company is going the same route as it prepares the Pixel 6a release, scheduled for July 28. Perhaps, the device will debut running the latest Google camera 8.5, which has since been made available on the Play store. 

According to reports, the latest Google camera 8.5 didn’t bring any noticeable changes or functionalities. The company is believed to be improving the compatibility of its camera app with the Pixel 6a, which uses old camera sensors, matching it with the Tensor chip.

Nevertheless, there must have been an introduction of minor features. Perhaps, the update is for bug fixes and improvements, although we hope to find out more about it in the coming days.
